I was born and raised in Omaha. I went to UNL for two years before moving back to Omaha to finish my degree. I currently work in the real estate industry here in Omaha.
I went to high school at Mount Michael in Elkhorn. After that I attended UNL and never really settled on what I wanted to major in. After two years I came back to Omaha and took classes at Metro. I took a real estate class there and really liked it. That has been my educational focus ever since. I will be graduating from UNO this May and am excited to find new opportunites.
I am a business major with a concentration in real esate and land use development.
I have never travelled anywhere outside the lower 48, but I have been on a lot of road trips to various National Parks. I hope to one day travel outside the US and experience what other countries and cultures are like.
This class is my last upper level elective, but I chose this one in particular because I thought it would be beneficial to someone who is considering travelling internationally.
I have watched The Long Way Round, The Long Way Down, and the first episode of An Idiot Abroad. I watched on DailyMotion as well as Netflix.
